A week of accidents...

This past week Savannah has had 2 yucky accidents. Last Monday while playing with her cousin Sydney and our dog Bo she fell into the wall face first and ended up with her first busted lip. I felt so bad for her. She had blood all in her mouth, lips, and chin. Our first experience with a bloody accident. Then today while at my parents house she and her cousin Emily collided and she got knocked into my parents brick fireplace. Luckily her hands hit the floor first so broke her fall otherwise I know we would have had our first trip to the ER. Anyway, as soon as she stood up she immediately had a HUGE bluish/green goose egg in the middle of her head between her eyebrows. She also ended up with another small bloody lip. It did scare me because her head hit brick! We put ice on it and gave her tylenol for the pain. My sister-in-law who knows A LOT about first aid was there so she told us what to do...what to look for...when you would need to go to the ER and kept me calm. We ended up still getting to go to the fair and within a couple of hours it still looks pretty bad in person but 100% better than it did right when it happened. I am hoping she doesn't wake up in the morning with raccoon eyes. Poor thing has had quite a week!
