My parents beloved dog, Kasper, passed away this morning after suffering a stroke. My mother picked him up off the side of a busy street dirty, scared and covered in burrs 10 years ago and he immediately became part of our family. He was so sweet and just enjoyed being loved on by anyone who would give him attention. We called him our ADHD dog because at times, especially when getting a leash out, he would go crazy jumping up and down over and over while barking and barking and biting at the leash. He was just so excited that he couldn't contain himself. He absolutely loved going on walks and laying in your lap to be petted. He brought such joy and love to our family. We love him dearly and will deeply miss him! We know we will see him again running and playing when we cross the rainbow bridge, but until then I am sure that my grandmother who passed away last August is taking great care of him and is enjoying the reunion. They were great buddies! I can almost see her expression now and hear her laugh as she says "Kasper!" as he is wagging his tail and burrowing his back against her leg. What a sweet and comforting picture!

Andrea, what a beautiful tribute to Kasper. This brought tears to my eyes, once again. We all loved him & he will be missed. I know Mom is going to take good care of him, until we all meet again.
Much love, Aunt Debi
