We had a wonderful time on our vacation. We met my husband's family up at their lake home and spent fourth of July weekend up there. We took Savannah on the boat and she got to see fireworks for the first time. She loved them both. However, did not care for the life vest too much!! We then left their lake house and followed them up to their beach home in Morehead City and spent the week there. We took Savannah to the beach and visited the aquarium. She had a great time at the beach and by the 2nd day was getting pretty brave walking out in the water with daddy. She would walk until the waves were waist deep on her. Her favorite thing to do at the beach though was to pick out shells and put them in her little cup. She did this forever! She also liked to walk out to the water and back again over and over. At the aquarium she was amazed at all the big and colorful fish. She kept pointing to all of them and saying "that" and then waving to them. It was so cute! We were greeted by pawpaw (my dad) when we arrived back home from our trip. He talked us into letting him take her back with him to surprise my mom. They live about an hour from us. So now our first night home after a week of vacation we are childless. Hence, me having the time to post pictures so quickly after returning home. Anyway, we had a wonderful trip and can't wait to be able to go and visit again!
